Essential Car Users Allowance
UNISON have provided councillors and lead officers with the results of our survey of car using union members. The findings reflect concerns about H&S, service efficiency and fairness. We have put forward a proposal to define essential car users accurately and compensate them accordingly. We anticipate to hear the outcome of these sensible and constructive representations by the beginning of October. We will be convening meetings at various sites once we have had a response. Results of the survey are available upon request to the branch office. Tel 01189 390890 unison@reading.gov.uk
